Guard Tour & Patrol Management Packages

HJ GuardTour turns patrol requirements into named checkpoints, routes, schedules, exception alerts and reviewable records. HJ confirms the reader or mobile method, software, connectivity, supervisor workflow, installation, testing and training as one complete patrol-management package.

Three HJ GuardTour Levels

Choose the required patrol visibility and response workflow

A checkpoint proves a visit only within the limits of the selected method. The package must also define route timing, missed-event handling, incident evidence and who reviews the result.

HJ GuardTour Basic

Offline patrol record

Records checkpoint visits on a dedicated patrol device for later download and supervisor review.

Best for
Single sites with stable routes and no requirement for live patrol visibility.
Complete scope
Route and checkpoint survey, durable checkpoint tags, compatible patrol reader, officer/route setup, download software where applicable, reports, testing and training.
Confirm before quotation
Offline records are reviewed after synchronisation. They do not provide live location, immediate missed-checkpoint alerts or proof of activity between checkpoints.

HJ GuardTour Smart

Connected supervision

Uses a supported connected reader or mobile workflow to provide more timely patrol records, exceptions and incident information.

Best for
Commercial, residential, hospitality and industrial sites that need supervisor awareness during or soon after a patrol.
Complete scope
Named checkpoints/routes, supported device or App, officer identities, schedules, connectivity/cloud boundary, missed or late event rules, incident notes/photos where supported, dashboard, tests and training.
Confirm before quotation
Real-time behaviour, GPS, photos, mobile data, cloud subscription and offline recovery vary by platform. Each claimed function must be named and tested.

HJ GuardTour Command

Multi-site operations

Coordinates patrol teams, sites, escalation and central reporting for a larger security operation.

Best for
Factories, campuses, developers, guard companies and multi-site organisations.
Complete scope
Multi-site route hierarchy, officer/supervisor roles, central dashboard, exception escalation, incident workflow, reports, integration path where confirmed, rollout, acceptance tests and administrator training.
Confirm before quotation
Command does not automatically include a control room, GPS tracking, CCTV integration or workforce attendance. Those interfaces are included only when approved and compatible.

Patrol Workflow Blueprint

How checkpoints become reviewable patrol records and exceptions

Basic, Smart and Command use different data paths. Connected alerts, incident media, duress and multi-site integration are included only where the selected platform supports them.

Diagram to Installation

Each page below highlights only the nodes it covers, explains its role in the complete Solution and returns to the exact numbered point in this diagram.

Patrol Workflow

Design routes, exceptions and evidence—not just checkpoint count

Useful patrol records depend on a realistic route and a supervisor response procedure.

Routes, Schedules & Tolerances

Plan

Defines checkpoint order, frequency, time windows and acceptable variation around real walking or vehicle routes.

Best for
Every GuardTour deployment.
Complete scope
Route walk-through, checkpoint locations, shift schedule, tolerance and alternate route rules.
Confirm before quotation
Unrealistic timing encourages unsafe rushing or meaningless exceptions.

Missed Points, Duress & Incidents

Respond

Defines who receives a late/missed event or incident and what evidence and escalation are required.

Best for
Sites where exceptions need action rather than a monthly report.
Complete scope
Exception categories, contacts, supported alerts, incident notes/media and escalation test.
Confirm before quotation
A system notification is not a staffed response service unless separately contracted.

Reports, Audit & Supervisor Handover

Review

Gives authorised supervisors a repeatable way to review completion, exceptions and trends.

Best for
Operational accountability and service review.
Complete scope
Roles, dashboard/reports, export boundary, data retention, administrator training and support plan.
Confirm before quotation
Reports show recorded events; they do not prove what happened between checkpoints or replace management investigation.
Verified Scope

Project proof without invented package claims

A named GuardTour case will be linked only after the publishable checkpoint count, workflow, commissioning and result are verified.

No exact public proof attached

No public named GuardTour case attached

The current public portfolio does not verify a guard-tour deployment. HJ therefore avoids attaching an unrelated CCTV or access-control case.

Clear Answers

Package selection questions

Use these answers to confirm the system boundary before model selection or quotation.

What is the difference between GuardTour Basic and Smart?

Basic normally records checkpoints for later download. Smart uses a supported connected device or App for more timely records, alerts or incident information. Exact real-time features depend on the selected platform.

Does GuardTour prove a guard inspected everything?

It records the selected checkpoint event and related supported data. It does not prove activity between checkpoints or replace supervisor review and incident investigation.

Can GuardTour integrate with CCTV or a command centre?

Yes only where the selected platforms support the agreed event and review workflow. HJ names and tests that interface instead of assuming integration from a brand name.

Is GuardTour the same as time attendance?

No. Attendance records staff clocking. GuardTour records patrol checkpoints, routes and exceptions. They may share identities or reporting only when a compatible integration is approved.

Terminology checked against HJ Guard Tour installation scope. Exact current models, regional availability and supply remain subject to the ISD catalogue.
