A system health check, wiring and connection inspection, cleaning of camera lenses/sensors where applicable, and a check of recordings, storage and mobile app connectivity.
How often should a CCTV or alarm system be serviced?
At minimum once a year — more frequently for larger commercial systems or properties in harsher environments (dust, moisture, direct sun). Our Silver and Gold plans schedule more than one visit a year.
What happens if a camera or sensor fails between scheduled visits?
AMC customers get priority booking for breakdown callouts, ahead of new, non-contract enquiries.
Can I get a maintenance plan for a system HJ Security didn't originally install?
In many cases yes — we'll assess the existing system first to confirm it's serviceable before starting a plan.
