A card reader or facial recognition terminal — in the lift car or at the lobby — connects through a relay controller to the lift's floor-selection circuit, so each person can only select the floors their credential is authorised for. A level-12 resident reaches level 12 and the facilities floor; they can't wander onto other residential levels.
A card/PIN reader or face terminal in the lift car or at the lift lobby identifies who is requesting a floor.
A multi-relay controller sits between the reader and the lift's floor buttons — only authorised floors are enabled for that person's trip.
Connection into the lift's floor-selection circuit is coordinated with your lift maintenance contractor — we handle this as part of the project, not leave it to you.
