An LPR barrier gate system reads the car plate, checks it against the list of allowed vehicles and lifts the barrier. Reliable results depend on the whole lane, not only the camera.
Barrier and safety detection

What It Is
Recognition at the Gate, Records in the Office
An LPR (License Plate Recognition, also called ANPR) camera provides a supported plate-read event. Approved permissions and a compatible controller decide whether the barrier gate may open. Define visitor and unread-plate handling, storage and retention; missing or unread events must not be described as a record of every movement.

Barrier Gate Integration
A supported camera/controller decision requests barrier release according to approved rules. Detection roles and placement are confirmed for the exact lane and equipment.
Radar Anti-Smash
A compatible protective radar monitors its configured zone and supported targets. Verify input behaviour and coverage with the actual barrier; it does not establish complete lane safety by itself.
Multiple Credential Types
UHF, Bluetooth or QR can be assessed as additional credentials where exact devices and software support them. Permissions, expiry and exception rules are separately verified.
Guardhouse Control
Confirm the supported operator view, available images/events and administrator permissions. Supervised release follows the approved exception and protective-device procedure.

How accurate is car plate recognition for Malaysian plates?
Confirm Malaysian plate-region support on the exact device and configuration, then test agreed plate types, approach and day/night conditions. Recognition is not guaranteed for every plate or weather; retain a supervised unread-plate route.
What happens when a visitor's plate isn't registered?
Choose a supported visitor route: authorised guard verification, compatible temporary QR or ticket, or a confirmed intercom destination. Define approval, expiry and the safe release procedure; none of these functions is included automatically.
Can LPR work together with access cards or UHF stickers?
These methods can be assessed together when the exact readers, controller and platform support them. Confirm user permissions, interfaces and fallback authority, then test each approved method without bypassing lane protection.
Does the system keep entry and exit records?
Configure supported recognition/passage events and image storage, then verify authorised search and retention on the actual platform. A recognised plate does not guarantee that all movements were captured; document unread, missing and offline cases.
