What does an ELV contractor do?
ELV means extra-low voltage: CCTV, access control, intercom, alarm, network, PA/AV and TV distribution. As an ELV contractor, HJ Security surveys the site, plans the system, runs the cabling, installs and configures the equipment, tests it, hands it over and supports it afterwards.

Can CCTV, door access, alarm and other systems work together?
Often yes, depending on the equipment, firmware and interfaces on each site. HJ checks what can be connected at the site survey and agrees the scope before quotation. See the integration guides on this page for the typical combinations.
Does HJ Security work outside Kuching?
Yes. HJ works across Sarawak, including Samarahan, Serian, Bau, Lundu, Sri Aman, Sibu, Bintulu and Miri. The Linde Gas reference covers sites in Kuching, Sibu and Miri.
Does HJ Security also do electrical (LV) or fire-system work?
HJ has carried out main switchboard (MSB) electrical works at three Sarawak sites (Samariang, Siburan and Matang, 2026). LV electrical, fire detection and firefighting are separate regulated disciplines. For any new job, HJ confirms who is responsible, which competent persons and specialist contractors are needed, and what the authorities require, before quoting.
