Control the gate and the yard
Tankers, cylinder lorries and contractors need checked entry, recorded plates and clear routes.
HJ SECURITY · KUCHING & SARAWAK
Plan CCTV, access control, vehicle entry, perimeter and plant communication around tanker deliveries, cylinder movement and restricted areas. HJ has delivered door access and CCTV for industrial gas facilities in Kuching, Sibu, Bintulu and Miri.
THE STARTING POINT
Tankers, cylinder lorries and contractors need checked entry, recorded plates and clear routes.
Filling, storage and control rooms should be limited to authorised staff, with entry records.
Equipment for classified areas is selected only after the plant confirms the area classification.
SYSTEMS & SCOPE
Choose the areas that match your priorities, then confirm how they work together. Open a topic for related installation or service information.
Gates, loading bays, cylinder yards and perimeter roads, with retention agreed with the plant.
Night coverage of storage areas and long boundaries without relying on floodlights.
Fence-line detection or electric fence chosen for the boundary and the plant's safety rules.
Patrol checkpoints for yards, storage areas and the perimeter, with records for the security supervisor.
Card or face access for control rooms, labs and filling areas, with an entry record for each person.
Staff gates that record each entry and help with headcount during an evacuation.
Induction status, permits and visitor records checked at the guardhouse.
Shift clocking for plant staff and contractors, with reports for payroll.
Tanker and lorry plates captured at entry and exit, with barrier control at the guardhouse.
Speed and plate capture on plant roads used by tankers and cylinder lorries.
Zoned announcements and alarm tones planned with the plant's emergency procedure.
Intercoms linking the yard, filling hall, guardhouse and control room.
Fibre and network links between the guardhouse, plant buildings and the control room.
Point-to-point links to remote gatehouses and camera poles where fibre is not practical.
One view of cameras, access events and alarms, including multiple plant sites.
UPS runtime for recorders, access control and network equipment during power interruptions.
BEFORE THE QUOTATION
Classified zones, controlled rooms and yards.
Gates, turnstiles and vehicle lanes.
Permits, induction and work windows.
Network routes and the control room.
USEFUL ANSWERS
Equipment for classified hazardous areas must be specified and approved by the plant's engineering team. HJ plans standard ELV equipment for non-classified areas and coordinates with the plant on any requirement inside a classified zone.
No. Gas detection, emergency shutdown and other process-safety systems remain under the plant's own engineering and authority. Where the plant requires it, HJ can review signal interfaces between those systems and the security system.
Yes. Work is scheduled under the plant's permit-to-work, induction and hot-work rules, and installation is staged around operations.
Yes. HJ delivered door access and CCTV for Linde Gas facilities in Kuching, Sibu, Bintulu and Miri. Each new site is still assessed against its own layout and rules.
