Proactive CCTV Camera Warning Systems in Kuching
Proactive combines CCTV recording with selected cameras that support two-way talk and local sound-and-light warning. It is intended for an agreed response at the camera location, such as warning near a side entrance after closing. A separate alarm panel is not automatically part of this plan.

System planning notes
A qualifying event produces a camera-side warning
Event selection and a camera response are shown separately from the recording path.
- Solid line: illustrated functional path or agreed test route.
- Dashed line: optional device or compatibility to confirm.
- The response arrow represents a configured function on selected equipment, not every motion in the picture.
- No independent alarm panel or external siren is included in this illustration.

What the camera can do in this reference plan
Record and allow live communication
Video remains the evidence path while supported microphone and speaker functions allow authorised communication. The operator can assess the view before speaking. Access to a phone app does not mean every employee should receive administration rights.
Provide a local warning response
Selected warning cameras can provide a siren and warning light. The chosen event, recorder support and configuration must establish when they operate. White-light scene illumination is not a substitute for an actual warning-light capability.
Choose the event before enabling the output
Use an agreed area and schedule
Identify the property boundary, expected activity and hours when a warning is useful. A public road or a busy shop entrance is not automatically an appropriate warning zone. Delivery and cleaning routines should be considered.
Confirm where detection is processed
An analogue camera system may use supported recorder-side analysis. Camera input count does not prove the available event-analysis channels. Human classification, line crossing and intrusion are different capabilities to check against the actual equipment and mode.
Proactive or Proactive Defence?
Camera warning stays at the camera
The warning camera is the response device in Proactive. Its installation position influences who can hear or see the warning. Do not assume that one camera output covers every part of a property or replaces a building alarm.
Independent alarm equipment adds another layer
Proactive Defence adds the alarm-control scope, including panel, keypad and independent siren in the reference arrangement. That is a separate equipment and commissioning discussion, not a different label for the same camera siren.
Agree how the system will be accepted
Walk the intended routes by day and night
Test a person entering the agreed area and normal activity that should not produce a warning. Review both detections and missed events under the actual view and lighting, adjusting the rule rather than relying on a generic sensitivity setting.
Demonstrate outputs and the responsible contact
Check recording, notifications where configured, camera sound and warning light as separate results. Show the customer how to pause and restore the agreed warning mode and identify who should investigate a real event.
Questions about Proactive CCTV
Is the camera alarm the same as a separate house alarm?
No. Proactive uses the selected camera's warning functions. An independent alarm has its own controller, arming workflow, detectors and outputs according to the agreed scope.
Will every person seen by the camera trigger the warning?
The response should follow approved event rules, target settings and active hours. Normal family, staff or delivery activity needs a suitable mode rather than indiscriminate warning.
Can I add a separate siren later?
It can be assessed as an upgrade. A suitable interface, power arrangement, alarm design and functional tests are needed; it is not an assumed direct connection to any camera.
